Welcome To Scandinavia 

The Nordic countries are a group of five countries in Northern Europe: Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland. They share close historical, cultural, and political ties, cooperate through the Nordic Council, and are known for high standards of living, strong social welfare systems, and beautiful natural landscapes. Although they have similar values and many shared traditions, they have different languages, histories, and forms of government.

Sweden and Denmark are members of the European Union, while Norway is not, although it participates in the European Economic Area and the Schengen Area, giving it close economic and travel ties with the EU.

Although all three countries are in Northern Europe, none of them use the euro (€) as their official currency.

The currencies are:
Denmark – Danish Krone (DKK).
Norway – Norwegian Krone (NOK).
Sweden – Swedish Krona (SEK).

Copenhagen is the capital and largest city of Denmark with a population of 650,000 people.

Copenhagen is consistently recognized as one of the world's most bicycle-friendly cities. Extensive cycling infrastructure means bikes often outnumber cars in many parts of the city, and cycling is a primary mode of transportation for many residents.

The city is also a global destination for food. It has numerous Michelin-starred restaurants, including Noma, which has repeatedly been ranked among the world's best restaurants and helped pioneer the New Nordic cuisine movement.
